AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for additional engineering
services for the design study of Bissell Point WWTP Chimney Repairs Phase II (E-1243 &
2005097A) and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 2 to Contract E-1243 to with
CDG Engineers Architects Planners, Inc. for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 12769, adopted November 13, 2008, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract E-1243, and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the additional engineering services
for the design study of Bissell Point WWTP Chimney Repairs Phase II (E-1243 & 2005097A).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment
No. 2 to Contract E-1243 to with CDG Engineers Architects Planners, Inc. for the design study
of Bissell Point WWTP Chimney Repairs Phase II (E-1243 & 2005097A); said contract to be
comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of
the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 10, 2009.
