AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Sixty-Eight Thousand Dollars
($268,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to the City of Frontenac, Missouri for a portion of the cost of design and construction of
stormwater improvements as undertaken by said City in Twin Fawns & Geyer Storm Channel
(2009210); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an agreement with the City of Frontenac,
Missouri whereby the District will reimburse to said City for a portion of the design and
construction of said stormwater improvements.
WHEREAS, the City of Frontenac, Missouri has undertaken the design of said
stormwater improvements, and
WHEREAS, the District is willing to reimburse to the City of Frontenac, Missouri
for a portion of the design and construction of said stormwater improvements, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One The sum of Two Hundred Sixty-Eight Thousand Dollars
($268,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to provide reimbursement to the City of Frontenac, Missouri
for a portion of the cost of design and construction of stormwater improvements as undertaken
by said City in Twin Fawns & Geyer Storm Channel (2009210).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an agreement
with the City of Frontenac, Missouri whereby the District will reimburse said City for a portion
of the cost of design and construction of stormwater improvements as undertaken by said City in
Twin Fawns & Geyer Storm Channel (2009210); said contract to be comprised of such terms and
conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
