AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Million Three Hundred Thirty-Nine
Thousand Dollars ($3,339,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to implement regulatory
permit compliance for the Missouri River WWTP Secondary Treatment Expansion (Mitigation
Credit) (2006168D) and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Mitico, LLC for the
aforesaid services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Million Three Hundred Thirty-Nine Thousand
Dollars ($3,339,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to
implement regulatory permit compliance for the Missouri River WWTP Secondary Treatment
Expansion (Mitigation Credit) (2006168D).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Mitico, LLC for services to implement regulatory permit compliance for the Missouri River
WWTP Secondary Treatment Expansion (Mitigation Credit) (2006168D); said agreement to be
comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of
the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 12, 2009.
