AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Southern
Ditching & Excavating Company for the construction of storm sewers in Dunloe Road Storm
Sewer (Infrastructure Repair) (2008152), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 12876, adopted June 11, 2009, appropriated the
funding for this Infrastructure Repair project,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Southern Ditching & Excavating Company for the construction of storm sewers in Dunloe Road
Storm Sewer (Infrastructure Repair) (2008152), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 9th day of September, 2009.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this ordinance shall
provide for a fee not to exceed Forty-Three Thousand Dollars ($43,000.00), and shall be
comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General
Counsel.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 12, 2009.
