AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($470,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for channel stabilization in Coldwater Creek at
Paddock Creek Bank Stabilization (2009127), in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with Ideal Landscape Group for the aforesaid channel
stabilization.
WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is Four Hundred Four Thousand
Four Hundred Twenty-Six Dollars ($404,426.00) and the allowance for construction change
orders and other project expenses is Sixty-Five Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-Four Dollars
($65, 574.00, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($470,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for channel stabilization in Coldwater Creek at
Paddock Creek Bank Stabilization (2009127), in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Ideal Landscape Group as the lowest responsible bidder for channel stabilization in Coldwater
Creek at Paddock Creek Bank Stabilization (2009127), in the City of Florissant, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 14th day of October 2009.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 10, 2009.
