AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Five Thousand Dollars
($405,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of CSO-Edgewood L-174 and Ladue Forest I-125 Interceptor/Outfall Removal
(2005105), in the City of Ladue, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
K.J. Unnerstall Construction Co. for the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid construction is Three Hundred Fifty-One
Thousand Six Hundred Seventy-Eight and 50/100 Dollars ($351,678.50), and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project costs is Fifty Three-Thousand Three Hundred
Twenty-One and 50/100 Dollars ($53,321.50), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Five Thousand Dollars ($405,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of CSO-Edgewood L-174 and Ladue Forest I-125 Interceptor/Outfall Removal
(2005105), in the City of Ladue, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
K.J. Unnerstall Construction Co. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of CSO-
Edgewood L-174 and Ladue Forest I-125 Interceptor/Outfall Removal (2005105), in the City of
Ladue, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 29th day of December 2009.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 2010.
