HomeMy Public PortalAbout13057ORDINANCE NO. 13057 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,400,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Lilac Ridge Service Area Sewer Rehabilitation (2009111), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. for the aforesaid rehabilitation. WHEREAS, the bid for said construction is One Million Two Hundred Seventy- Four Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-Eight and 90/100 Dollars ($1,274,838.90), and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Twenty- Five Thousand One Hundred Sixty-One and 10/100 Dollars ($125,161.10), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,400,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Lilac Ridge Service Area Sewer Rehabilitation (2009111), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Lilac Ridge Service Area Sewer Rehabilitation (2009111), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 18th day of February 2010. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 8, 2010.
