AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety Three Thousand Dollars ($93,000.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be
used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Carmelita Drive Storm Sewer
(2008119), in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Archway Contracting of St. Louis, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm
sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Eighty Four
Thousand Four Hundred Forty-Six and 10/100 Dollars ($84,446.10), and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is Eight Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-
Three and 90/100 Dollars ($8,553.90), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety Three Thousand Dollars ($93,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Carmelita
Drive Storm Sewer (2008119), in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Archway Contracting of St. Louis, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of
storm sewers in Carmelita Drive Storm Sewer (2008119), in the City of Florissant, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 17th day of February 2010.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 8, 2010.
