HomeMy Public PortalAbout13058ORDINANCE NO. 13058 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,300,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Valley Sanitary Relief (SKME-014) Phase I (2006052A), in the Cities of Clarkson Valley and Wildwood, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd. for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is One Million One Hundred Eighty-One Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-Two and 40/100 Dollars ($1,181,362.40) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Eighteen Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-Seven and 60/100 Dollars ($118,637.60), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,300,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Valley Sanitary Relief (SKME-014) Phase I (2006052A), in the Cities of Clarkson Valley and Wildwood, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Valley Sanitary Relief (SKME-014) Phase I (2006052A), in the Cities of Clarkson Valley and Wildwood, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 22nd day of February 2010. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 8, 2010.
