AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seven Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars
($790,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for the Power Supply
Improvements at Various Sanitary Pump Stations Phase II (2007240A) in St. Louis County,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc., for the
construction of the aforesaid improvements.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said improvements is Seven Hundred
Fifteen Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-Five Dollars ($715,565.00) and the allowance for change
orders and other project costs is Seventy Four Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-Five Dollars
($74,435.00).
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seven Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($790,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for the Power Supply
Improvements at Various Sanitary Pump Stations Phase II (2007240A) in St. Louis County,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
R.V. Wagner, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for the Power Supply Improvements at
Various Sanitary Pump Stations Phase II (2007240A) in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to
bids opened and received on the 26th day of February 2010.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 13, 2010.
