HomeMy Public PortalAbout13074ORDINANCE NO. 13074 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty Thousand Dollars ($80,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Lusher Road to Cathedral Hill Drive Storm Sewer (2008223), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Southern Ditching & Excavating Company for the aforesaid storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Sixty Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-One and 92/100 Dollars ($60,741.92) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Nineteen Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-Eight and 08/100 Dollars ($19,258.08), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Eighty Thousand Dollars ($80,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Lusher Road to Cathedral Hill Drive Storm Sewer (2008223), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Southern Ditching & Excavating Company as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Lusher Road to Cathedral Hill Drive Storm Sewer (2008223), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 18th day of March, 2010. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 13, 2010.
