HomeMy Public PortalAbout13078ORDINANCE NO. 13078 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,300,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in CC-14 Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Relief (SKME-026) Phase I (89132A), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. for the aforesaid construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said construction is Three Million Eighty Five Thousand Dollars ($3,085,000.00), and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Two Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($215,000.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,300,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in CC-14 Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Relief (SKME-026) Phase I (89132A), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in CC-14 Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Relief (SKME-026) Phase I (89132A), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 20th day of April 2010. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 10, 2010.
