HomeMy Public PortalAbout13086ORDINANCE NO. 13086 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($210,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repair #015P Burncoate (P-321) (90044), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with B & G Utilities, LLC for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid construction is One Hundred Eighty Nine Thousand Dollars ($189,000.00), and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Twenty One Thousand Dollars ($21,000.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($210,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repair #015P Burncoate (P-321) (90044), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with B & G Utilities, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repair #015P Burncoate (P-321) (90044), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 19th day of April 2010. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 10, 2010.
