AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the transfer of funds to the Sanitary Replacement
Fund from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Missouri River
Bonfils in the amount of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00); and making a
supplemental appropriation of Three Million Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,800,000.00)
from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for additional engineering services for
inflow/infiltration investigations for Separate Sewer Area - Inflow/Infiltration Assessment
(10231); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 3 to Contract E-1214 with
Woolpert Consultants, Inc. for the aforesaid additional engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 12487, adopted August 9, 2007, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract E-1214, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named funds sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) is
hereby transferred to the Sanitary Replacement Fund from Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Missouri River Bonfils.
Section Two. The sum of Three Million Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars
($3,800,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used
for additional engineering services for inflow/infiltration investigations for Separate Sewer
Area - Inflow/Infiltration Assessment (10231).
Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No.
3 to Contract E-1214 with Woolpert Consultants, Inc. for additional engineering services for
inflow/infiltration investigations for Separate Sewer Area - Inflow/Infiltration Assessment
(10231).
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 8, 2010.
