AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Three Thousand Dollars
($203,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for pump station
improvements in West Watson Road - Nanell Lane Phase II (10138) in the City of Sunset Hills,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Dizdar Bros. Sewer & Const.
for the construction of the aforesaid pump station improvements.
WHEREAS, the bid for construction of said sanitary sewers is One Hundred
Ninety Three Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-Six Dollars ($193,536.00), and the allowance for
the construction change orders, and other project costs is Nine Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-
Four Dollars ($9,464.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Three Thousand Dollars ($203,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for pump
station improvements in West Watson Road - Nanell Lane Phase II (10138), in the City of
Sunset Hills, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Dizdar Bros. Sewer & Const. as the lowest responsible bidder for pump station improvements in
West Watson Road - Nanell Lane Phase II (10138), in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 27th day of July, 2010.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 16, 2010.
