AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($370,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction as
part of the Wharf Street Pump Station Replacement (P-110) (WW) (10049) in the City of
St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with TGB, Inc. for the
construction of the aforesaid sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the sanitary sewer construction is Three Hundred Thirty-
Four Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-Seven Dollars ($334,937.00) and the allowance for change
orders and other project costs is Thirty Five Thousand Sixty-Three Dollars ($35,063.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($370,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
sanitary sewer construction as part of the Wharf Street Pump Station Replacement (P-110)
(WW) (10049) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
TGB, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the sanitary sewer construction as part of the
Wharf Street Pump Station Replacement (P-110) (WW) (10049) in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 21st day of July, 2010.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 16, 2010.
