AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars
($390,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for the Lemay WWTP Aeration
Blower Modifications Phase IA (10270) in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Dresser Roots for the aforesaid modifications.
WHEREAS, the bid for the modification is Three Hundred Forty Eight Thousand
Seven Hundred Dollars ($348,700.00) and the allowance for change orders and other project
costs is Forty One Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($41,300.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($390,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for the Lemay WWTP
Aeration Blower Modifications Phase IA (10270) in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Dresser Roots for the Lemay WWTP Aeration Blower Modifications Phase IA (10270) in
unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
