AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixty Two Thousand Dollars ($62,000.00) from
the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used
for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Treadway Lane No. 4315 Storm Sewer
(10314), in the City of Edmundson, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with B & G Utilities, LLC for the aforesaid storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Fifty Five Thousand
Seven Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($55,775.00) and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is Six Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars
($6,225.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixty Two Thousand Dollars ($62,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Treadway
Lane No. 4315 Storm Sewer (10314), in the City of Edmundson, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
B & G Utilities, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in
Treadway Lane No. 4315 Storm Sewer (10314), in the City of Edmundson, Missouri, pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 11th day of August, 2010.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 14, 2010.
