HomeMy Public PortalAbout13148ORDINANCE NO. 13148 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($460,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for creekbank stabilization in Fieldcrest and Fournier Channel Improvements (GCMB-130) (10234), in the City of Crestwood, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. for the aforesaid construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said creekbank stabilization is Four Hundred Seventeen Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-Three and 21/100 Dollars ($417,723.21) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Forty Two Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-Six and 79/100 Dollars ($42,276.79), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($460,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for creekbank stabilization in Fieldcrest and Fournier Channel Improvements (GCMB-130) (10234), in the City of Crestwood, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for creekbank stabilization in Fieldcrest and Fournier Channel Improvements (GCMB-130) (10234), in the City of Crestwood, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 7th day of September 2010. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 10, 2010.
