AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars
($240,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Creve
Coeur Frontenac to be used for project costs for creek stabilization in Temple Israel Creek Bank
Stabilization (10180), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. for the aforesaid creek stabilization construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said creek stabilization construction is Two Hundred
Eighteen Thousand Three Hundred Ninety Dollars ($218,390.00) and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is Twenty One Thousand Six Hundred-
Ten Dollars ($21,610.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($240,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Creve Coeur Frontenac to be used for project costs for creek stabilization in Temple Israel Creek
Bank Stabilization (10180), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for creek stabilization in Temple Israel
Creek Bank Stabilization (10180), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 5th day of October 2010.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 9, 2010.
