AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of University City to be used for
project costs for construction of channel stabilization in Branford Drive #30 Storm Sewer
(10538), in the City of Olivette, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with R.
V. Wagner, Inc. for the aforesaid construction of channel stabilization.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Twenty Five Thousand
Four Hundred Twenty Dollars ($25,420.00) and the allowance for construction change orders
and other project expenses is Four Thousand Five Hundred Eighty Dollars ($4,580.00).
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
University City to be used for project costs for construction of channel stabilization in Branford
Drive #30 Storm Sewer (10538), in the City of Olivette, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
R. V. Wagner, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for construction of channel stabilization in
Branford Drive #30 Storm Sewer (10538), in the City of Olivette, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 4th day of October 2010.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 9, 2010.
