AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixty-Nine Thousand Dollars ($69,000.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Seminary Branch of
River Des Peres to be used for project costs for the channel wall construction in Innisfail #217
Storm Channel (10666), in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Ideal Landscape & Excavating for the aforesaid channel wall construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Sixty Two Thousand
Eight Hundred Thirty-Five Dollars ($62,835,00) and the allowance for construction change
orders and other project expenses is Six Thousand One Hundred Sixty-Five Dollars ($6,165.00),
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixty-Nine Thousand Dollars ($69,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Seminary
Branch of River Des Peres to be used for project costs for the channel wall construction in
Innisfail #217 Storm Channel (10666), in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Ideal Landscape & Excavating as the lowest responsible bidder for the channel wall construction
in Innisfail #217 Storm Channel (10666), in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri, pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 15th day of October 2010.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 9, 2010.
