AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Securitas
Security Services USA whereby Securitas Security Services USA will provide security for the
District's headquarters building, District employees and throughout the District as needed.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Securitas Security Services USA, whereby Securitas Security Services USA, will provide
security for the District's headquarters Building, District employees and throughout the District
as needed.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this ordinance shall
provide for an initial term of one (1) year at an annual fee not to exceed Four Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($400,000.00), with two (2) additional one-year renewal terms to be exercised at the
option of the District; and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved
by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 9, 2010.
