HomeMy Public PortalAbout13188ORDINANCE NO. 13188 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventy Three Thousand Dollars ($73,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Thunderbird and Cardinal Drive Storm Sewer (10774), in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with CTI & Associates, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Sixty Six Thousand Seven and 95/100 Dollars ($66,007.95), and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Six Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-Two and 05/100 Dollars ($6,992.05), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Seventy Three Thousand Dollars ($73,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Thunderbird and Cardinal Drive Storm Sewer (10774), in the City of Florissant, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with CTI & Associates, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Thunderbird and Cardinal Drive Storm Sewer (10774), in the City of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 12th day of November, 2010. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 13, 2011.
