HomeMy Public PortalAbout13194ORDINANCE NO. 13194 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Two Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($1,240,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in CC-15 Seven Pines to Bennington Place Sanitary Relief Phase II (SKME-033) (10406), in the Cities of Maryland Heights and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd. for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is One Million One Hundred Forty Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Four and 75/100 Dollars ($1,148,704.75) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Ninety One Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-Five and 25/100 Dollars ($91,295.25), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Two Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($1,240,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in CC-15 Seven Pines to Bennington Place Sanitary Relief Phase II (SKME-033) (10406), in the Cities of Maryland Heights and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in CC-15 Seven Pines to Bennington Place Sanitary Relief Phase II (SKME-033) (10406), in the Cities of Maryland Heights and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 15th day of December 2010. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 10, 2011
