AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars
($460,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois
Creek to be used for project costs for channel stabilization in Malus & Green Park Storm Sewer
(10252), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Ideal Landscape Group for the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is Four Hundred Twenty
Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-Three Dollars ($420,983.00) and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is Thirty Nine Thousand Seventeen Dollars
($39,017.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($460,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for channel stabilization in Malus & Green Park Storm
Sewer (10252), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Ideal Landscape Group as the lowest responsible bidder for channel stabilization in Malus &
Green Park Storm Sewer (10252), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 16th day of December 2010.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
