AN ORDINANCE, authorizing The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to pay
the fees of Lashly & Baer PC for services rendered as legal counsel to the Rate Commission of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
WHEREAS, the Rate Commission of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
has independently solicited proposals from various law firms to act as counsel for the Rate
Commission, and has chosen Lashly & Baer PC as counsel for the Rate Commission, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.260 of the Charter of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District, the Rate Commission's reasonable and necessary expenses, including
but not limited to, funds for professional and consultant's fees and supplies are to be provided for
in the District's budget process,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District is hereby authorized to
pay the fees of Lashly & Baer PC for services rendered as legal counsel to the Rate Commission
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 20, 2011
