AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($600,000.00)
from the Emergency Fund for emergency sewer repairs in Emergency Repair #045 - Caulks
Creek Force Main Repair I-64 & RR (11126) in the City of Chesterfield, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract #10665 with Gross Mechanical Constructors, Inc. for
the aforesaid emergency repairs.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($600,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Emergency Fund for all costs related to emergency sewer repairs in
Emergency Repair #045 - Caulks Creek Force Main Repair I-64 & RR (11126) in the City of
Chesterfield, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract #10665
with Gross Mechanical Constructors, Inc. for emergency sewer repairs in Emergency Repair
#045 - Caulks Creek Force Main Repair I-64 & RR (11126) in the City of Chesterfield, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 20, 2011.
