HomeMy Public PortalAbout13238ORDINANCE NO. 13238 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Sixty Five Thousand Dollars ($265,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Diebold - Celtic Channel Improvement (GCMB-340) (10056), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Ideal Landscape Group for the aforesaid storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Two Hundred Thirty Nine Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty Five Dollars ($239,865.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Twenty Five Thousand One Hundred Thirty-Five Dollars ($25,135.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Sixty Five Thousand Dollars ($265,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Diebold - Celtic Channel Improvement (GCMB-340) (10056), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Ideal Landscape Group as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Diebold - Celtic Channel Improvement (GCMB-340) (10056), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 30th day of March, 2011. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 12, 2011.
