AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($370,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for Power Supply
Improvements at Various Sanitary Pump Stations Phase III (10364) in the Cities of Olivette,
Fenton, and the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. for the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid construction is Three Hundred Thirty Seven
Thousand Five Hundred Thirty Five Dollars ($337,535.00), and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is Thirty Two Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-Five
Dollars ($32,465.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($370,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project
costs for Power Supply Improvements at Various Sanitary Pump Stations Phase III (10364) in
the Cities of Olivette, Fenton, and the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
R.V. Wagner, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for Power Supply Improvements at Various
Sanitary Pump Stations Phase III (10364) in the Cities of Olivette, Fenton, and the City of
St. Louis Missouri; pursuant to bids received and opened on the 4th day of April 2011.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 9, 2011.
