AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars
($515,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Black
Creek to be used for project costs for creekbank stabilization for Wenneker - Treebrook Lane
Storm Channel (10228), in the City of Ladue, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Ideal Landscape Group for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Three Hundred
Ninety Eight Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-Eight Dollars ($398,368.00), and the allowance for
construction change orders is One Hundred Sixteen Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-Two Dollars
($116,632.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($515,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Black Creek to be used for project costs for creekbank stabilization for Wenneker - Treebrook
Lane Storm Channel (10228), in the City of Ladue, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Ideal Landscape Group as the lowest responsible bidder creekbank stabilization for Wenneker -
Treebrook Lane Storm Channel (10228), in the City of Ladue, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 25th day of April 2011.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 9, 2011.
