AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00)
from the Emergency Fund for emergency sewer repairs in Emergency Repair #046 I-70 &
Newstead Avenue (11154) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Contract No. 10684 with Gershenson Construction Company for the aforesaid emergency
repairs.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Emergency Fund for emergency sewer repairs in Emergency
Repair #046 I-70 & Newstead Avenue (11154) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract 10684
with Gershenson Construction Company for emergency sewer repairs in Emergency Repair #046
I-70 & Newstead Avenue (11154) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 29, 2011.
