AN ORDINANCE, transferring Four Million Dollars ($4,000,000.00) from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund #660 to the #101 General Fund and making a supplemental
appropriation of Four Million Dollars ($4,000,000.00) for additional engineering services for
Combined Sewer Area - Inflow/Infiltration Assessment (FY2012) (10232); and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Amendment No. 4 to Contract E-1215 with RJN Group, Inc. for the
aforesaid additional engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 12488, adopted August 9, 2007, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract E-1215, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Million Dollars ($4,000,000.00) is hereby
transferred from the #660 Sanitary Replacement Fund to the #101 General Fund.
Section Two. The sum of Four Million Dollars ($4,000,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the General Fund for additional engineering services for Combined Sewer
Area - Inflow/Infiltration Assessment (FY2012) (10232).
Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment
No. 4 to Contract E-1215 with RJN Group, Inc. for additional engineering services for Combined
Sewer Area - Inflow/Infiltration Assessment (FY2012) (10232); said contract amendment to be
comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of
the District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
