AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Thousand Dollars
($300,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of Coldwater Wet Weather Storage Facility Tank A (Engineering Construction
Services) (10434), in the City of St. Ann Missouri, and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Amendment No. 10 to Contract E-1055 with Crawford Murphy & Tilly, Inc., Inc. for the
aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11589, adopted September 11, 2003, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract E-1055, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for additional engineering services for
the Coldwater Wet Weather Storage Facility Tank A (Engineering Construction Services)
(10434), in the City of St. Ann Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment
No. 10 to Contract E-1055 with Crawford Murphy & Tilly, Inc., Inc. as the lowest responsible
bidder for additional engineering services for the Coldwater Wet Weather Storage Facility Tank
A (Engineering Construction Services) (10434); said contract to be comprised of such terms and
conditions as are approved by the Office of General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 14, 2011.
