AN ORDINANCE, transferring Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($550,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to the General Fund, and appropriating Five Hundred
Fifty Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00) from the General Fund of the District for the operation
and maintenance of stream flow gauges in Stream Flow Gauge Operation (USGS) (FY2012)
(10766); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to extend Agreement M-561 with the United States
Department of the Interior (U.S. Geological Survey) for the aforesaid services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One: The sum of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00) is
hereby transferred from the Improvement Fund to the General Fund.
Section Two. The sum of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund of the District for operation and maintenance of
stream flow gauges in Stream Flow Gauge Operation (USGS) (FY2012) (10766).
Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to extend Agreement M-561
with the United States Department of Interior (U.S. Geological Survey) for the operation and
maintenance of stream flow gauges in Stream Flow Gauge Operation (USGS) (FY2012)
(10766); said Agreement to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the
Office of General Counsel of the District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
