HomeMy Public PortalAbout13300ORDINANCE NO. 13300 AN ORDINANCE, transferring Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($600,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to the General Fund, and appropriating Four Hundred Fifty Five Thousand Dollars ($455,000.00) from the General Fund of the District to continue the operation and maintenance of water quality sampling and analysis in Stream Flow Water Quality Sampling (FY2012) (10768); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract 10534 with the Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. for the aforesaid services. WHEREAS, said contract provides for an initial term of one (1) year with two (2) additional one-year renewal terms at the option of the District, and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13155, adopted November 10, 2010, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract 10534, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One: The sum of Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($600,000.00) is hereby transferred from the Improvement Fund to the General Fund. Section Two: The sum of Four Hundred Fifty Five Thousand Dollars ($455,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District to continue the operation and maintenance of water quality sampling and analysis in Stream Flow Water Quality Sampling (FY2012) (10768). Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract 10534 with Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. for the operation and maintenance of water quality sampling and analysis in Stream Flow Water Quality Sampling (FY2012) (10768); said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 8, 2011.
