AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Eighty Thousand
Dollars ($80,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of sanitary sewers in Northland Lateral Sanitary Relief (SKME-310) (2003110) in
the Cities of Jennings and Ferguson and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to amend the existing contract with XL Contracting, Inc., Inc. for the
construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 12944, adopted September 10, 2009 appropriated the
initial funding and authorized the contract for said project, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty Thousand Dollars ($80,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of sanitary sewers in Northland Lateral Sanitary Relief (SKME-310) (2003110) in
the Cities of Jennings and Ferguson and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend the existing contract
with XL Contracting, Inc., Inc. for additional project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers
in Northland Lateral Sanitary Relief (SKME-310) (2003110) in the Cities of Jennings and
Ferguson and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, said contract to be comprised of such
terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 21, 2011.
