AN ORDINANCE, appropriating an additional One Hundred Thousand Dollars
($100,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for sewer
separation in the CSO - Macklind Outfall L-062 Separation (10159), in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an amendment to Contract No. 10637 with
MB Mitchell, LLC for the aforesaid sewer separation.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13247, adopted June 9, 2011, appropriated the initial
funding and authorized said contract, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for sewer
separation in the CSO - Macklind Outfall L-062 Separation (10159), in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an amendment to
Contract No. 10637 with MB Mitchell, LLC for sewer separation in the CSO - Macklind Outfall
L-062 Separation (10159), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, said contract to be comprised of
such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel for the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 9, 2012.
