AN ORDINANCE, transferring Five Hundred Fifty Six Thousand Seven Hundred
Thirty-Three and 15/100 Dollars ($556,733.15) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to the
General Fund, appropriating Five Hundred Fifty Six Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-Three and
15/100 Dollars ($556,733.15) from the General Fund, and appropriating Forty Three Thousand
Two Hundred Sixty-Six and 85/100 Dollars ($43,266.85) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund
of the District for Deer Creek Sanitary System Improvements (11110), and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Contract No. 10733 with the Parsons Water & Infrastructure, Inc. for the
aforesaid services.
WHEREAS, said contract provides for an initial term of one (1) year with annual
extensions based on acceptable performance to provide watershed consultant services for all
projects included in the Deer Creek Sanitary System Improvement project, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 13337, adopted December 8, 2011, the
Director of Finance has the authority to make transfers between the Sanitary Replacement Fund,
and any other appropriate fund, to accommodate the accounting of costs and proper capture of
capital related expenses, and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One: The sum of Five Hundred Fifty Six Thousand Seven Hundred
Thirty-Three and 15/100 Dollars ($556,733.15) is hereby transferred from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund to the General Fund.
Section Two: The sum of Five Hundred Fifty Six Thousand Seven Hundred
Thirty-Three and 15/100 Dollars ($556,733.15) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund,
and Forty Three Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-Six and 85/100 Dollars ($43,266.85) is hereby
appropriated from the from the Sanitary Replacement Fund of the District for Deer Creek
Sanitary System Improvements (11110)
Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 10733 with Parsons Water & Infrastructure, Inc. for Deer Creek Sanitary System
Improvements (11110); said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
