HomeMy Public PortalAbout13368ORDINANCE NO. 13368 AN ORDINANCE, transferring Three Hundred Eighty Four Thousand One Hundred Sixty-One and 39/100 Dollars ($384,161.39) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to the General Fund, appropriating Three Hundred Eighty Four Thousand One Hundred Sixty-One and 39/100 Dollars ($384,161.39) from the General Fund, and appropriating One Million Six Hundred Fifteen Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-Eight and 61/100 Dollars ($1,615,838.61) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund of the District for Lower & Middle RDP CSO Controls System Improvements (11109); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 10734 with the Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. for the aforesaid services. WHEREAS, said contract provides for an initial term of one (1) year with annual extension s based on acceptable performance to provide watershed consultant services for all projects included in the Lower & Middle RDP CSO Controls System Improvements (11109), and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 13337, adopted December 8, 2011, the Director of Finance has the authority to make transfers between the Sanitary Replacement Fund, and any other appropriate fund, to accommodate the accounting of costs and proper capture of capital related expenses, and, WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One: The sum of Three Hundred Eighty Four Thousand One Hundred Sixty-One and 39/100 Dollars ($384,161.39) is hereby transferred from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to the General Fund. Section Two: The sum of Three Hundred Eighty Four Thousand One Hundred Sixty-One and 39/100 Dollars ($384,161.39) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund, and One Million Six Hundred Fifteen Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-Eight and 61/100 Dollars ($1,615,838.61) is appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund of the District for Lower & Middle RDP CSO Controls System Improvements (11109)of the District for Lower & Middle RDP CSO Controls System Improvements (11109). Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 10734 with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. for Lower & Middle RDP CSO Controls System Improvements (11109); said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 9, 2012.
