AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek for flood
mitigation purposes in Mary Avenue Flood Mitigation (10701) in the City of Brentwood,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the City
of Brentwood, Missouri to provide financial assistance for demolition of structures on flood-
prone properties.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Deer Creek for flood mitigation purposes in Mary Avenue Flood Mitigation (10701).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an
intergovernmental agreement with the City of Brentwood, Missouri to provide financial
assistance for demolition of structures on flood-prone properties.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 10, 2012.
