AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,700,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (FY2012 Contract B)
(11806) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Insituform Technologies USA, LLC for the aforesaid rehabilitation.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid rehabilitation is One Million Five Hundred
Forty Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Five and 60/100 Dollars ($1,547,705.60), and the
allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Fifty Two
Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-Four and 40/100 Dollars ($152,294.40), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,700,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation)
(FY2012 Contract B) (11806) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Insituform Technologies USA, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for the rehabilitation of
sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (FY2012 Contract B) (11806) in the
City of St. Louis Missouri; pursuant to bids received and opened on the 8th day of March, 2012.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 10, 2012.
