AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek for cost
sharing with the Missouri Botanical Gardens for Green Infrastructure Construction - Deer Creek
Watershed Initiative (11065) and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an agreement with the Missouri
Botanical Gardens for cost sharing of Green Infrastructure Construction.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-referenced fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek for cost sharing with the Missouri Botanical Gardens for Green Infrastructure
Construction - Deer Creek Watershed Initiative (11065).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a cost sharing
agreement with the Missouri Botanical Gardens for Green Infrastructure Construction - Deer
Creek Watershed Initiative (11065); said agreement to be comprised of such terms and
conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 14, 2012.
