AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars
($580,000.00) from the Gravois Creek OMCI fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers and creekbank stabilization in Diamond Head Drive Storm Sewer
(GCUC-110) (10248) in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Ideal Landscape Group for the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid construction is Five Hundred Seven
Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-Five Dollars ($507,555.00), and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is Seventy Two Thousand Four Hundred Forty-Five
Dollars ($72,455.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($580,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Gravois Creek OMCI fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers and creekbank stabilization in Diamond Head Drive Storm Sewer
(GCUC-110) (10248) in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Ideal Landscape Group as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers and
creekbank stabilization in Diamond Head Drive Storm Sewer (GCUC-110) (10248) in St. Louis
County Missouri; pursuant to bids received and opened on the 28th day of March 2012.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 14, 2012.
