HomeMy Public PortalAbout13420ORDINANCE NO. 13420 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,300,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the equipment procurement of the Lemay WWTP Outfall 002 Elimination (Equipment Procurement) (11132), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with United Conveyor Corporation for the equipment procurement of the aforesaid treatment plant improvements. WHEREAS, the bid for the equipment procurement of said treatment plant improvements is One Million One Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($1,190,000.00), and the allowance for equipment procurement change orders is One Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($110,000.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,300,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the equipment procurement of the Lemay WWTP Outfall 002 Elimination (Equipment Procurement) (11132), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with United Conveyor Corporation as the lowest responsible bidder for the equipment procurement of the Lemay WWTP Outfall 002 Elimination (Equipment Procurement) (11132) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 24th day of May, 2012. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 12, 2012.
