AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of One Hundred Seventy Six
Thousand Dollars ($176,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering services
for the design of Glendale Section D Sanitary Relief Phase IV (SKME-624) I/I Reduction
(11122) and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 10733 with Parsons Water &
Infrastructure, Inc., for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13366 adopted February 9, 2012, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 10733, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Seventy Six Thousand Dollars
($176,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering
services for the design of Glendale Section D Sanitary Relief Phase IV (SKME-624) I/I
Reduction (11122).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 10733
with Parsons Water & Infrastructure, Inc., for engineering services for the design of Glendale
Section D Sanitary Relief Phase IV (SKME-624) I/I Reduction (11122); said contract being
comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General
Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 9, 2012.
