HomeMy Public PortalAbout13492ORDINANCE NO. 13492 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in GC-11 Gravois Creek Sanitary Relief (10015) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the aforesaid construction. WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid construction is Two Hundred Eighty Eight Thousand Four Hundred Seventy Nine Dollars ($288,479.00), and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Sixty One Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-One Dollars ($61,521.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in GC-11 Gravois Creek Sanitary Relief (10015) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in GC-11 Gravois Creek Sanitary Relief (10015) in Unincorporated St. Louis County Missouri; pursuant to bids received and opened on the 9th day of August, 2012. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 11, 2012.
