O R D I N A N C E NO. 13541
AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 13293, adopted
July 14, 2011, and enacting a new ordinance in lieu thereof, prescribing
the salary of the Secretary-Treasurer of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District; and authorizing the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appoint Brenda A. Schaefer,
whereby Brenda A. Schaefer will be employed as Secretary-Treasurer of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 13293, adopted July 14, 2011,
is hereby repealed.
Section Two. The salary of the Secretary-Treasurer shall be
One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) per annum, payable
in equal bi-weekly installments.
Section Three. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees is
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to appoint Brenda A. Schaefer, whereby Brenda A. Schaefer will be
employed as Secretary-Treasurer of the District.
Section Four. The position of Secretary-Treasurer is
essential to the operation of the District, and the salary for said position
must be prescribed and the appointment made without delay, thus
creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan. Accordingly, this
ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on November 8, 2012.
