AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) from the
General Fund for Geographic Information System; web-based application to enable field
personnel access to District asset information, and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
Contract with the SmartGeoTech for the aforesaid services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One: The sum of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the General Fund.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a Contract with
SmartGeoTech for Geographic Information System; web-based application to enable field
personnel access to District asset information; said contract to be comprised of such terms and
conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on January 10, 2013.
