AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Eighty Seven Thousand Dollars
($587,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering services for the design of
Prospect Hill Landfill Vertical Expansion (11094), and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Contract #20029 with Horner & Shifrin, Inc. for the design of this project;
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRCT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Eighty Seven Thousand Dollars
($587,000.00) Dollars is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for
engineering services for the design of Prospect Hill Landfill Vertical Expansion (11094).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract #20029
with Horner & Shifrin, Inc. for engineering services for the design of Prospect Hill Landfill
Vertical Expansion (11094); said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have
been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on March 14, 2013.
